You work with people whose problems are so severe that they need constant help with ADL's. For a person who needs this level of support, issues such as dyslexia and face blindness take a back seat to basic safety and hygiene. Neurodivergence would not be mentioned for the same reason that we don't generally talk about the air we breathe.
However, for those of us who must struggle to survive and support ourselves in a world not made for us, neurodivergence is a very important concept for understanding and making the best of our lives.
