Whenever I think of this incident, Percy Sledge's classic "When a Man Loves a Woman" comes to mind:

When a man loves a woman,

Can't keep his mind on nothin' else,

He'd change the world for the good thing he's found.

Turn his back on his best friend if he put her down.

All kinds of people say all kinds of things about The Slap. But all I see there is a Man Loving a Woman. And that does my heart a lot of good!
