Yes, really.

All these little petty-a$$ laws are enforced selectively to keep the jails and prisons stocked with cheap labor. That’s the loophole in the 13th amendment. Meanwhile, the racist-capitalist system throws White and White-passing folks a few bones to keep us as diligent little foot soldiers enforcing their rules. All too often this results in a death penalty, executed on the spot for some little thing that gets out of hand because cops are trained to think like warriors and to think of folks out there as enemy combatants. Enough! We got to cut each other some slack and remember that this is a struggle to overcome an oppressive system before it kills us all. Black folks are at the cutting edge of this struggle at this time. All the rest of us need to do is push together in the same direction to make the big changes that need done. Are you on board? The time is now, and there isn’t much time left. So ignore that inner Karen or Ken if you see a little something. Remember, this is a matter of life or death!
