Yeah, that!

I know that the stories in the Bible are metaphors, not to be taken literally. The story of the Antichrist is a great metaphor for what TFG is doing.

Christ is a metaphor for the virtuous aspects of human nature—courage, compassion, good stewardship, and doing the right thing even when it costs us. I believe that the Second Coming of Christ is a metaphor for centering these virtues so that we can become better people and make the world a better place. As some people put it, "the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" when we do this consistently enough to make a difference.

Likewise, when an influential person gives us permission to give into our fears and bigotries, to be as rude and ugly as we want, to take and consume and destroy whatever we want because Freedum, that person embodies the metaphor of the Antichrist, the one who opposes everything good in human nature. And when he fits the Scriptural description down to the detail of a little horn (trump) with a bragging mouth who recovers from a head wound and dominates the other horns (microphones or bullhorns?), this should make us all go, hmm.
