Yeah, Madonna has been saying some very ugly things lately about the current crop of Black female pop singers, saying they owe her. And she looks hideous with those fake collagen lips.
I've been posting a few original songs on Sound Cloud lately, and seen thumbnails of young white pop singers doing the same. Some of them look ridiculous with their collagen lips, fake tans, and fake locs. None of that is necessary -- all anyone needs is a good popular sound and to know the right people. I hope they grow up enough to cringe later at their younger selves.
Celebrities and corporations who get rich by blackfishing ought to give something tangible to the Black community in return. College scholarships, community resources, advancement opportunities, etc. Reparations gets a bad rap because the 1% scares the white sector of the working class with thinking the burden is on Joe Sixpack to pay for what long-dead people who look like him have done. But those who got rich off of slavery and its aftermath owe the most, and these are the old money families and the corporations that they founded.
