Yeah, I admit I'm satire-impaired. Many of us autists are. I didn't realize this was satire till I read the responses.
I also admit that there's an awful lot of nonsense coming out of the liberal arts wing of academia. This is because -- unlike the STEM wing, where I reside -- the theories they embrace fail in the areas of falsifiability and predictive capability. This is why one hears all sorts of conflicting theories coming out of the liberal arts wing like the latest fashions. They can't all be true because they contradict each other and because they stand or fall solely by rhetoric. So I can see where satire is useful for poking holes in all those hot air balloons and special interest bubbles. On a third reading, I can see the satire pretty clearly. Sorry for calling your piece drivel.
