Envy can drive people to do very bad things with The Power. If their emotions are strong enough, they don't even need any specific knowledge or rituals, just raw power. I've experienced this too. I wonder why they are jealous of me, of all people -- I certainly don't look like someone to envy!

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. And in all but the most severe cases, there are cures that don't involve cultural appropriation, and anyone with a sound mind can do for themselves. Maybe I ought to write something about this.
