When I first looked at that image, I felt a bit of an Uncanny Valley effect. When I looked closer, I saw that the bodies were shaped all wrong. There are lots of sharp angles and unusual proportions. And some of the people seemed to be facing the wrong way. Then I noticed that the signs were in some indecipherable alphabet.

Takeaway: trust your gut. If an image feels a bit off, look at specific details.
