What a difference a few months make!

Ms. Harris has given us a shot in the arm, Project 2024 is getting more attention, and TFG is losing ground.

I could not find any recent poll results about whether Black support of TFG has decreased since his fiasco at the NABJ conference but I'd venture to say that he has lost ground in that demographic. Certain men (of all colors) love a good trash-talker, which has been a good part of his appeal. But lately, he's taken to whining and saying things that give his base pause. And his choice of running mate is generating ridicule -- which is Kryptonite to authoritarians.

Here's hoping that we don't wimp out as we did with Ms. Clinton, when some of us got spooked over Comey reopening the investigation, and too many of us didn't show up because we figured she was a shoo-in anyhow.
