Wait, what about potato salad? Don't Black folks use mayo to make that?

My Spanish Creole grandmother made the best potato salad and she used mayo in it. Her potato salad resembled the awesome potato salads I've had when Black neighbors invite me to the cookout. Coulda sworn there's mayo in that. No?
