That was my impression. His open-mouth stare looked like, "I can't believe he's saying this cr@p."

It was disheartening to see an elderly man, armed with a wealth of facts, get sidetracked by TFG's bombastic lies. It's a sobering reminder that many are more interested in performance than in truth. TFG, to his credit, certainly knows how to entertain. But the Entertainer In Chief is not part of the President's job description.

The moderators let TFG's lies and evasions slide. They dropped the ball on that. We're hearing about how Biden was off his game and flubbed a few lines. There is little to nothing about the lies and mush-minded rants from the competitor.

The film "Idiocracy" was meant as satire, not documentary.
