You say there were lots of tests and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. When I saw his pictures as a boy, I immediately thought, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. THe small widely spaced eyes with downturned corners, the flattened bridge of the nose, the thin upper lip and smooth skin between the nose and upper lip, these are clear signs. Did anyone consider this early on?
