Silly me -- I'm under the impression that the body positive / self-care / self-love movement is by and for large women of color. I'm even under the impression that self-care and self-love is cultural appropriation if you're white. Maybe that's cos I don't look at social media much. I read -The Manufacture of Consent- a while back and it stuck with me. Everything we see in the media is a con.
