Signs of the Times

Did anyone else see these"four legs good / two legs bad" signs around town leading up to the election? They featured sayings such as "Trump safety / Kamala crime" and "Trump low taxes / Kamala high taxes." The upper portion of the signs was done in primary red and touted dump, while the lower portion was pastel blue, connoting strength vs weakness. The signs were placed about 7' from the ground so that the viewer would have to lift their eyes (as in prayer) and so that the signs could not be easily removed or defaced. They catered to low-information voters who could be easily swayed by bumper sticker slogans and don't bother to look into detailed facts. I recognized them as the work of a highly skilled and well-paid advertising agency, probably funded by President Musk.
These signs were instrumental in getting about 20 million people who had voted for Biden in the last election to skip this one. Not so coincidentally, Harris lost by about 20 million votes.
And here's the kicker: I asked a dump-supporting relative if he saw these signs around town. He adamantly stated that he hadn't seen them. I challenged him: How could you miss them? They were all over town, clustered at every major intersection! He insisted that he hadn't -- and was willing to back this up with an oath! This suggests that the signs bypassed the conscious minds of their intended audience and lodged in their subconscious minds, where emotions, fantasies, and shadow traits reside.
Scary stuff, ya'll!
