Relating Cain's curse to the history of Whiteness, I was struck by how white people are essentially vagabonds on earth. True, we're vagabonds travelling in high style, yet wanderers nonetheless, lacking a soul connection to the land, any place as good as any other. Also I've noticed how when someone kills a white person, the consequences to the killer are often far worse than if they'd killed anyone else of any other color.

The part about the earth refusing its crops is a bit of a stretch; however, the whiteman's success at agriculture is not what it seems. Totalitarian agriculture -- the practice of devoting large areas of land to a single crop and killing off all competitors -- has great yields, at first. And totalitarian agriculture is mandated by the Bible! (Lev 19:19 and Deut 22: 9-11)

However, after a while the land is exhausted and then the whiteman has to move on, find more lands to exploit and more peoples to dispossess, RIght now we're able to maintain totalitarian agriculture only by use of machines powered by petroleum and fertilizers and pesticides derived from petroleum. The energy of current sunlight is no longer sufficient, now we're drawing on fossils of ancient energy. When this is exhausted, or when the byproducts of all this fossil fuel use finally catches up to us -- then what? Those in power don't seem to know or care, and neither do their footsoldiers, ordinary working class white people who wear red hats and fancy themselves to be financially embarrassed aristocrats.

The spread of the whiteman, from the Mideast where the gene for depigmentation first appeared -- all across Europe (displacing the darkskinned proto-Europeans who lived by hunting / gathering and substinence agriculture) and on into Asia, the Americas, Ocenia, and even into Africa -- attest to this. In the process we've lost our connection to the land, our humanity, and our souls. We abandon our ancestor's graves in search of fresh arable land, and any place is as good as any other. We're high maintainence wanderers, travelling about in rich entourages, but wanderers nonetheless.

I believe that each nation has a turn at hegemony, and the whiteman's rule is about to end. I hope so -- it disturbs me very much to see how Whiteness has destroyed the Earth and her peoples. I'd love to see a peaceful transtion of power but that's not likely. It seems to me that Whiteness' vision has all life on this planet headed for disaster, and only a new vision can save the entire system of life on this planet. This new vision must come from outside of Whiteness and will probably come in the aftermath of the disaster that's ahead. I'm glad I'm getting on in years and won't be around to see the worst of the chickens coming home to roost. Also I'm glad that my only offspring -- a daughter -- has chosen not to bring any children into this troubled world.

I don't know how Cain can be redeemed, or if he can be redeemed. I've given this a lot of thought over the years and I just don't see any way. Totalitarian agriculture has made it possible for a great many spirits to have a human experience on this planet -- but at what cost?

Thanks again for writing this article and for reading my message. Blessings to you and your people!
