Race is a social construct. But that doesn't make it any less real.

Money is also a social construct, as are education, the social hierarchy, religion, workplace practices, child-rearing practices, etc.

Yet, I don't see anyone saying that money or any of these other social constructs aren't real or that we can solve problems regarding money, education, hierarchy, etc., simply by not talking about them.
