Ok, I read the article you cited* and it does not advocate discrimination against white people. It acknowledges that white people are more likely to be admitted to the cardiac care unit when presenting with heart failure, and that the likelihood of admission correlates with provider discretion and patient self-advocacy. It suggests a remedy that all Black and Latino patients presenting with heart failure should be admitted to the cardiac unit.
