Indeed.

Black folks are encouraging anti racist white folks to get together and see each other through the anger and grief that goes with coming to terms with racism. But it seems that, in practice, these groups are more like circular firing squads than support groups. I've had to distance myself from a few, after coming away feeling suicidal from the thought / language policing and woke-shaming that goes on in there.

I'd love to see a 12 step inspired approach to anti-racist development. Anyone know of any. pr want to start one with me?
