I'm sorry for clapping, and tried to remove my clap. I couldn't; instead my attempt to remove resulted in multiple claps.

This article is written to angry white people and addressed to right where they live: raw self-interest. So I read it thinking of my angry white relatives, and clapped because I felt it would reach them. But this article is very disrespectful and hurtful to BIPOC people especially immigrants, so I'm sorry for supporting it.

I hope the writer of this article considers the feedback it's getting from BIPOC people, and revises or removes it. There's too much white noise out here; let's hear and amplify BIPOC voices.
