I was raised in a Catholic Charismatic family and yeah, we spoke in tongues. I remember when I first got the "gift" - I felt a tingling sensation on my tongue and it started moving of its own accord. It sounded a lot like jazz scatting -- which I've heard a lot of, since I'm from New Orleans. Go figure.
