I"ve looked into Ketamine. Just because I didn't mention experimental use of K in psychedelic-enhanced therapy, doesn't mean I don't know about it. I just didn't see it as relevant.
I know about the experimental use of K in psychedelic-enhanced therapy. It shows some promise in treating C-PTSD and treatment-resistant depression. I considered using it to self-medicate these conditions. So I looked into contraindications and found articles such as this one:
https://americanaddictioncenters.org/ketamine-abuse/ketamine-side-effects and decided against it. For example, "Ketamine is a dissociative drug with the ability to distort sensory perception and impart a feeling of detachment from oneself and the environment."
It also causes hallucinations and can be addictive.
While such dissociation may be helpful in some medical practices, it isn't unreasonable or uninformed to be concerned that an unelected foreign-born presidential advisor is detached from himself and his environment.
