I hear you. Here in the USA my daughter is seen as unambiguously Black. But then, here in the USA, there are people the same color as me, seen as Black because of their hair texture and facial features. One drop.

However, when she goes to Jamaica they call her Browning. She laughs and takes it in stride. She knows herself so it's all good.
