I hear that a lot, people saying they're ok with legal immigration but not with "the illegals."
What they forget is that it's a LOT harder to come in legally than it used to be. In the past, one could come in and get a green card within a month or so. Now, it can take years. In the past, there were widespread guest worker programs and provisions for asylum. The current administration is removing these. This is especially so if the person trying to come in is not White.
This article is flawed in that it focuses on the products and services that immigrants provide rather than on their human worth and dignity. Your response continues this theme. There are illegal actions but there's no such thing as an illegal human being.
