I can't help but wonder -- why the UN doesn't take land away from neighboring countries to give land to all displaced peoples? Why doesn't the UN take Tibet away from China? Why doesn't the UN make the USA honor its treaties? The Treaty of Ft Laramie was supposed to give the Northern Plains to the N, D, Lakota, and Oklahoma to the Natives. And what about the 40 acres and a mule that was promised to survivors of slavery?

These are just a few examples off the top of my head; there are many more. Don't other peoples also have stories of divine origin, complete with blessings on allies and curses on enemies? Why is Israel so special? Because the Bible says so?
