I agree, we got a lot of work to do. However, I think there's more to it than millions of us suddenly becoming turncoats.

"The fact is there were a huge number of white women supporting Kamala Harris, but when it came time to vote, they voted chump. "

Yeah, that's the part that baffles me. I keep hearing this claim but have not been able to find any hard evidence. Looking at the numbers, it looks to me that chump got about as many votes as he did last time, but around 20 million Democrats stayed home.

Two things can be true at the same time. Indeed, we have a lot of work to do. Also, we need a new game plan. We have been playing nice while our opponents have no qualms about fighting dirty. I'm curious what dirt chump has on our congress people, why they roll over and play dead for him.

I saw the R's pulling some heavy-duty psyops going into the final weeks. Scapegoating immigrants and trans people distracts us from thinking about the mess of lies and foreign influences flying around. A campaign of blatant lies in bumper sticker-style writing that looked to me like something that could bypass the rational mind and lodge in the lizard brain. Voter suppression in areas likely to vote D. The tons of free publicity chump got to spread his lies. The snail's pace of prosecution and eventual dropping of the ball on his many crimes.

The night before the inauguration, chump addressed his followers and admitted that Musk, the expert on "vote counting computers," spent a lot of time "working for us in Pennsylvania ... and we won!" Weeks before the election, at an event put on by right-wing activist group Turning Point Action, he said, "Listen, we don’t need votes. We got more votes than anybody’s ever had..." and urged his followers to watch out for voting fraud by the opponent party.

Yeah -- I see how clueless we can be sometimes. My autism gives me an outsider perspective, and I see a lot of cringe-worthy things that go under most people's radars. There's plenty enough blame to go around. But blaming solves nothing.

We've got to unite and resist. The .1% is happy to keep us distracted with culture wars. They would rather us worry about TikTok going down and where people go to the bathroom than look at how they're breaking the country down and selling it off by parts. I guess we're going to have to learn the hard way.

Thanks for reading.
