I agree. Similarly, I think the conflict in Gaza is due to some very wealthy people in high places making deals. Why people believe these lies -- I think it's because of groupthink, tribal affiliations, whatever you want to call it.

I believe that Autistic folks, with our relative immunity to groupthink / peer pressure, are here to serve as a check against this tendency.
