Great. So what's she going to do about the wealth gap that remains from centuries of stolen labor, denied opportunities for home ownership, inequitable funding of public schools, inequitable sentencing for similar crimes? What is she going to do about the health effects of chronic racial stress, or the biases that lurk in the back of our minds and make us think this is the way it's supposed to be?
I clicked on this article because I was hoping to read of a conscience-stricken heiress who made a healthy donation from her family fortune toward a seed fund for reparations. Instead, this drivel. Glad I have a paid account, and didn't waste a free article on this nonsense.
EDIT: looking at some of the responses, it seems this article is supposed to be satire. The bit about the Dunning-Kruger foundation gives this way, for the sarcasm-impaired. Maybe so, but I'm still not laughing.
