Getting diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at age 55 was a huge relief. At last I knew what I was -- not evil crazy or lazy, just different in certain definable ways. This opened the way for me to return to school and work with reasonable accomodations under ADA.

I know many people with Asperger's diagnoses who still use that term to describe ourselves, because it fits better than any other.

What ever happened to allowing people to self-identify? And who cares about Elon Musk anyhow?
