Euro-mutts who walk the Rasta way need to understand that we are the remnant of Edom that returns to Jah, according to prophecy. When Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, and begged Isaac for a consolation-prize blessing, Isaac blessed Esau with the riches of the earth. When Esau met Israel many years after the latter's exile, he offered Israel his riches. This is the example we Edomites must follow.

As the faithful remnant of Edom, we must have a servant's heart, to bind up the wounds and restore justice to Jah people. We must take supportive rather than leadership roles, and place our resources, talents, minds, and hearts in the loving service of Blackman Redemption. Otherwise, we are just culture-vultures, embracing the rhythm while denying the blues.
