Broke the news to a Black guy I met in the park yesterday. I was playing my guitar and he came by and struck up a conversation.

"What kind of music do you like?" he asked.

"Any kind, as long as it's good. Folk, Rock, Gospel, Hip-hop, European classical, Reggae, Rap, Country, you know... How about you?"

"Same here. You really like Rap?"

"Yeah, if it's good. A good beat, good words, good tune in the hook, all that."

"You like Ye?"

"He's got some great music. But I'm out here trying to fix stupid and he's out there spreading the stupid around."

"What did he do this time?"

"Went out in public with Candace Owens wearing white lives matter shirts."

"No way! Are you sure? Where did you see this? Facebook? You know they put fake pictures in Facebook."

"I wish. No, it's out in the regular news."

"Why?"

"WIsh I knew. Someone probably paid him a billion dollars to do it."

"I heard he was dead."

"No, that's Coolio."

"How did he die?"

"Heart attack. Gets a lot of men."

"Yeah, that happens, we all gotta go sometimes .. but ... Ye, Ye, Ye..." he said, shaking his head like a parent over a child gone wrong.
