Book of Mormon and Blazing Saddles aren't even in the same league. Blazing Saddles put all the stereotypes out there in plain view, then destroyed them by subversion and satire. Book of Mormon, not so much. AIDS, FGM, and child molestation are not joking matters, no matter how framed.

I haven't seen Book of Mormon in full, and don't think I want to. The excerpts I've seen on YouTube are cringe-worthy and not even particularly funny. I got a bad feeling about it that I couldn't put into words, and this article nails it.
