Acceptance of other’s POV is all well and good as long as we agree on what’s real. But when people push falsehoods (eg the presidential election in 2020 USA was stolen, COVID is a hoax, etc) then it becomes a matter of public health and security. Science tells us that truth is that which stands up to evidence. Some people don’t get that, and that’s a problem.
